This App Note applies to the following display(s): Intelligent Series, Economy Series, MX Series, PC Bay Inserts, DevDevil
To use the code provided, please ensure the latest version of visual studio is installed on your PC. The Visual C# 2008 Express Edition can be downloaded free of charge from Microsoft at the following address: http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/. The programs can also be run on their own using the .exe files found in the projects' bin folder.
Before running the program for the first time, please read through the program for instructions and insight. All comments will begin with a // or /*, most likely be in green, and will usually be helpful. For additional information on the basic functions used to write to and read from your display, please refer to the On Code document. This file will provide instruction for creating more specific applications for your display.
Finally, please note the the code provided is for demonstration purposes only. As such, it is not designed for robust applications and should not be used in a commercial environment. The code within this project can be viewed and altered to provide a reference for a better understanding of your Matrix Orbital display. However, it was written by a mere technical support representative, so any code destined for final product design should be written anew by a professional.
