This App Note applies to the following display(s): GLT240128, GLT240128-USB
To use the code provided, please ensure the latest version of visual studio is installed on your PC. The Visual C# 2008 Express Edition can be downloaded free of charge from Microsoft at the following address: http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/. The program can also be run on it's own using the GLTAppNote.exe file found in the projects' bin folder.
Before running the program for the first time, please read the application note for instructions. It is important to ensure the proper files are uploaded to your GLT240128 before beginning the application note program so that it runs correctly. For additional information on the basic functions used to write to and read from the GLT, please refer to the On Code document. This file will provide instruction for creating more specific applications for your touch screen display.
Finally, please note the the code provided is for demonstration purposes only. As such, it is not designed for robust applications and should not be used in a commercial environment. The code within this project can be viewed and altered to provide a reference for a better understanding of the GLT240128 and it's touch screen applications. However, it was written by a mere technical support representative, so any code destined for final product design should be written anew by a professional.
