I have been working at Matrix Orbital since February of 2002. I was hired FOB (fresh off the boat) from Japan. I was born and raised in Miyagi, Japan and when I was 17, I moved to the US on my own to go to high school. I ended up staying in Spokane, Washington for 4 years with a wonderful family whom I still keep in touch with. I moved back to Japan when I was 21, and worked as an English teacher, ESL program coordinator, and office administrator.
Here at Matrix Orbital, I started out
as the cute little Japanese shipping girl, but now I am the foul
mouth biatch general manager who is responsible for shipping,
bookkeeping, payroll, benefits and everything that goes on at our production facility.
I don't have any family members in
Canada, so my husband, Mike (not Mike the production manager) is all I
have here. We have been married
for 7 years and I'm surprised that he hasn't killed me with
his farts (he is lactose intolerant and has IBS) We have no kids or
pets. We like to stay free and easy Mike and Yuko. We live in a
small town called Carstairs just north of
Calgary. It is a cute little town with 2800 people.
We really like living there and I don't think we will ever move
back to Calgary.
My passion is Golf. I am a member of
Carstairs Golf Club and I play 2 to 4 times
a week. I started golfing in 2004 so I wouldn't become a golf widow. My handicap factor is currently 22.2. On June 25, 2006, my husband and I won
the husband & wife tournament held at our home course with an
impressive score of -3!! I am so proud of myself (and my
husbnad, I guess). I recently purchased a gym membership and I'm really into Spin and Hot Yoga. My golf buddy and I are in the process of putting together a fitness plan for golfers. I hope it will help me hit longer off the tee as I am not a very long hitter.
I am a slut when it comes to male celebrities. Here are some of my boyfriends: Joe Sakic, Paul Kariya, Ichiro Suzuki, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Gregg Zaun, John McDonald, Chad Krueger and Bob Barker. I love baseball, hockey, football, noodles, cheese and bread. I religiously watch Dexter, Californication, Weeds, Grey's Anatomy and Dancing with the Stars. My favorite reality show is the Biggest Loser.
