Troy's Page
Hello! I'm Troy Clark and I have been at Matrix Orbital since
August of 2007. I was hired straight out of
University, top of my Electronics Engineering Technology
class. My time here in Calgary began three years prior, after
I was offered the Presidential Scholarship during my last year at
Pleasant Valley Secondary. My family remains in the small
farming community of Armstrong, British Columbia where fifteen years
earned it a home in my heart.
At Matrix Orbital, I was first hired to preform technical support duties. I am the cheery voice on the other end of the technical support line, a regular moderator on the forums, and manage the support email queue. Somehow I also managed to pick up a technical writer position and am responsible for upkeep of the older manuals as well as creation of all new manuals, beginning with the DevDevil line. Finally, an arant raise of the hand and soldering skills bought me a few weeks of intensive training to become the Matrix repair technician. Currently I can be found keeping watch out of the Northeast production facility next to Raquel and putting out any fires Engineering, Production, and Sales care to start.
Outside of work I can be found at home...working, in my chair watching the game, on the couch reading the words of some long dead philosopher, entranced by a new sound, or at the pub with a pint, a burger, and a few good friends. The customary favourites list would read Canucks or Riders in the summer, Plato's Republic or Tolstoy's Confession if it better fit the category, the Arctic Monkeys and a sentimental favourite the Chilis, and of course the Ship and Anchor with a Guiness and the Loaded, but not quite, Ship Burger.
Finally, for your veiwing pleasure, you'll find a few moments from many adventures, mouse over for more. Enjoy, and thanks for checking out my page here at Matrix Orbital.
