Hello. My name is Kyla and I am the newest member to the Matrix Orbital team. I moved to Calgary in 2003 to attend post secondary and graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 2006 when I was 20. Since then, I have been gaining experience working in administration and sales (mostly real estate) until I was swooped up by Yuko to come work at Matrix Orbital as a Sales Executive.
In my spare time, I am learning German at the German Canadian Club Calgary, and hope to start putting it to use with our great German clients. Other hobbies include running, movies, music and when I have a little time left over, I travel back to my hometown of Pincher Creek to visit my family and help my sister-in-law with her craft business.
I love to travel and have been to New Orleans, Florida, California, Minnesota, Mexico, and various other places in Canada and the US. This year I have traveled to Victoria, BC and Santa Barbara, CA to visit family and had a great time. I hope to soon jump across the pond and visit the British Isles, Germany and Italy. I’m up to traveling anywhere that doesn't have giant bugs, snakes, spiders or sharks. I snorkeled with the Barracuda’s in Orlando and that was as close to facing my phobias as I dare to go.
