This year's Embedded System Conference held in Boston was a surprising success. This was the first time that Matrix Orbital has attended ESC Boston and boy are we glad that we did. "The show stopper was our PLED displays" explains Clare Wagner, Sales Rep for Matrix Orbital, "Their brightness always has people stopping in their tracks to take a look."

"This was the first time that Matrix Orbital has attended ESC Boston and boy are we glad that we did."With a very busy booth, there wasn't much time was left to relax and take in the Boston air. "Ah, no rest for the wicked!"
"We met with hundreds of industry professionals who were interested in using a display in their application. Again, the show stopper was our PLED displays. Their brightness always has people stopping in their tracks to take a look" says Wagner. Our PLED's bring new and exciting diode technology, which are self-luminous displays that do not require backlighting. This means that the display uses much less power than a traditional LCD or VFD and has the added benefit of a 160 degree viewing angle! PLEDs are very thin, lightweight and compact which can be used in a myriad of applications.
"Our graphic displays were also a big hit." These modules are one of the more recent and excellent additions to the Matrix Orbital line of products. Innovative and labor saving, these modules allow you to download high quality fonts in any size, style or language. Graphic functions include primitives like pixels, lines, rectangles, bar graphs etc. "Wait till we unveil our new graphic display at the next show! I can't wait to see the reaction then" Clare explains with excitment.
The thing that surprises people most when they meet with us, is our ability to get them what they need. If we do not have what they need, we offer to custom make it. This is always well received for there is nothing more frustrating for project leaders to not be able to find exactly what they need. Matrix Orbital is always more than happy to help.
"All in all, it was a great show and we generated a lot of product interest and many new sales."
Even though the show is now over, Clare still gets that warm fuzzy feeling from hearing how amazing the Matrix Orbital displays look, and how excited people are to have found us.
"Ok, ok, so I have no life, so what? Nothing like a good looking display to put a smile on a girl's face. :)" says Clare Wagner, with a smile on her face.
